  • Veterinary records shared through the App
  • Photos of your pet uploaded to the App

With Veterinary Specialists

When you submit an appointment request or connect with a specialist, relevant information about you and your pet (including medical records you have shared) will be made available to the veterinary professionals you choose to engage with.

With Service Providers

We may share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including cloud hosting (Supabase), analytics, payment processing, and customer support. These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us.

For Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. We may also disclose information to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, or that of our users or the public.

4. Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously and implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encrypted data storage through our backend provider, Supabase, with row-level security policies
  • SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between the App and our servers
  • Secure authentication mechanisms including encrypted password storage
  • Regular security audits and monitoring
  • Access controls limiting employee access to personal data

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. We may also retain and use your information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

You can opt out of receiving push notifications at any time by adjusting your device settings or within the App's notification preferences. Please note that opting out of push notifications may affect your ability to receive timely updates about appointments and messages.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide additional notice, such as a push notification or email. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
