1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Specialty Vet Connect mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Specialty Vet Connect ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.

2. Description of Service

Specialty Vet Connect is a mobile platform designed to connect pet owners with board-certified specialty veterinarians. The App allows users to browse specialist profiles, post appointment requests, receive and manage referrals from primary veterinarians, read reviews and ratings, and communicate with veterinary specialists. The App serves as an intermediary platform that facilitates connections between pet owners and veterinary professionals. We do not employ veterinary specialists listed on the platform, nor do we directly provide veterinary medical services.

3. User Accounts & Registration

To access certain features of the App, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
• Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate and complete.
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials and not share your account with any third party.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the App. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if we suspect any violation of these Terms.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use the App in any manner that:

• Violates any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
• Is fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive, including impersonating any person or entity.
• Infringes upon or violates the intellectual property rights or any other rights of others.
• Harasses, abuses, threatens, or intimidates other users or veterinary professionals.
• Distributes spam, unsolicited communications, or any form of malicious content.
• Attempts to gain unauthorized access to the App, other user accounts, or any related systems or networks.
• Interferes with or disrupts the integrity or performance of the App or its underlying infrastructure.
• Posts false, misleading, or defamatory reviews or ratings.

5. Veterinary Disclaimer

Specialty Vet Connect does not provide veterinary medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The App is a technology platform that facilitates connections between pet owners and specialty veterinarians. All medical decisions, diagnoses, treatment plans, and veterinary advice are solely the responsibility of the licensed veterinary professionals who use or are listed on the platform.

The information provided on the App, including specialist profiles, descriptions of services, and educational content, is for informational purposes only and should not be construed as professional veterinary advice. Always consult directly with a qualified veterinary professional regarding your pet's health and medical needs.

In the event of a veterinary emergency, contact your nearest emergency veterinary hospital immediately. Do not rely on the App for urgent or emergency medical situations.

6. Appointment Requests & Referrals

The App enables pet owners to submit appointment requests and receive referrals from primary care veterinarians to specialty veterinarians. Please note the following:

• Submitting an appointment request does not guarantee an appointment. Availability is subject to the specialist's schedule and acceptance.
• Referrals managed through the App are facilitated digitally for convenience but remain the professional responsibility of the referring veterinarian.
• We are not responsible for the quality, outcome, or timeliness of any veterinary services arranged through the App.
• Any fees, cancellation policies, or scheduling terms are determined by the individual veterinary specialist or their practice and are separate from the App.

7. Reviews & Ratings

Users may submit reviews and ratings for veterinary specialists they have interacted with through the App. By submitting a review, you represent and warrant that:

• Your review is based on your genuine, first-hand experience with the veterinary specialist.
• Your review is accurate, truthful, and not misleading.
• Your review does not contain offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content.
• You grant Specialty Vet Connect a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your review within the App and for marketing purposes.

We reserve the right to remove or moderate reviews at our sole discretion, including reviews that violate these Terms or our community guidelines. We do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of any user reviews or ratings.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, software, and the compilation thereof, are the exclusive property of Specialty Vet Connect or its licensors and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, reverse engineer, or otherwise exploit any content or materials from the App without prior written consent from Specialty Vet Connect.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Specialty Vet Connect, its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with:

• Your use of or inability to use the App.
• Any veterinary services, advice, or treatment obtained through connections made via the App.
• Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data.
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the App.
• Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in specialist profiles, reviews, or other content.

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the App exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the liability.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, at our sole discretion. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature within the App.

Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution provisions.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms within the App and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We may also provide additional notice, such as an in-app notification or an email to the address associated with your account. Your continued use of the App after any changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in the State of Colorado, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
